The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and Other Clinical Tales - Oliver Sacks Fascinating subject matter and an interesting read, but Oliver Sacks is very unscientific, and it begins to bother me more and more the more of his stuff I read. He has all sorts of fairy tale pat explanations for things that he really doesn't know at all. I think he is insufficiently wary about fooling himself, and in the process it's a shame that he fools a lot of other people, too.
